Welcome Center Summer Hours: The Welcome Center will be open this summer on July 8, 11, 14, & 15 from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Families may make appointments or walk-ins for assistance with registration for the 2022-2023 school year. The Welcome Center is located in the Adult Education entrance of the Administrative Training Complex at 415 Harding Drive, Lebanon, TN 37087.
Wilson County Schools will host a Registration Night for ESL families on July 21 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Rutland Elementary School. Interpreters will be available to assist. Families may bring their own devices or use ones provided by the school.

At the May 2, 2022, School Board meeting, the Board decided to rezone a portion of the Gladeville Elementary School zone to Rutland Elementary School. Students from Gladeville that reside in the following areas will now attend Rutland Elementary School.
- Beckwith Road from Interstate 40 to Central Pike
- Beckwith Crossing Subdivision:
- Stephen Way
- Oliver Drive
- Elliott Drive
- Syler Drive
- Berkshire Ridge Subdivision:
- Berkshire Boulevard
- James Way

- Waltons Grove Subdivision:

- Collier Road
- Castle Road
- Dean Drive

- Vicar Lane

The Board did make an exception for rising fifth graders and their siblings by allowing them to apply for a zone exemption to remain at Gladeville Elementary. To download a copy of the form, visit Zone Exemption Request Form for Gladeville Rising 5th Grade and Siblings. Please note that all zone exemptions must be submitted prior to May 13, 2022. Requests submitted after this time will not be accepted.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Special Called Board Meeting
The Wilson County Board of Education will meet in a Special Called Meeting on June 23, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. at the Wilson County BOE Administrative & Training Complex, 415 Harding Drive, Lebanon, TN 37087. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss and possibly vote on Land RFP, Waste Disposal Contract and Budget Amendments.

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee and Education Commissioner Dr. Penny Schwinn joined Milken Educator Awards Senior Vice President Dr. Jane Foley to present Hallstedt with the prestigious recognition. The Award includes an unrestricted $25,000 cash prize to be used however he chooses.
